Nepal Kyokushin-Seishin Kaikan Karate Association, Central Dojo, Kathmandu, organized the "First National Coach and Referee Seminar–2072" on 4th and 5th Falgun, 2073. The event saw participation from 13 coaches and referees representing various dojos.
The seminar's chief guest was Dhruv Bahadur Pradhan, Honorary President of the Nepal Olympic Committee and President of the National Olympic Committee, who has more than 20 years of experience in Nepal's sports sector and has made significant contributions to its development.
The special guest was Kancho Seishin Iwashita, President of the World Kyokushin Kai Karate Federation, who leads the global development of Kyokushin karate and has played a key role in spreading it across Japan.
Referee training was conducted by coach Gyani Shakya, the training coordinator, under the supervision of international referee Shihan Ashok Kumar Shrestha — a 6th Dan Black Belt holder from WKKO-Japan who has served as President of WKKO-Nepal since 2012 and brings extensive experience as an international referee.
